About the Role
Join the engineering team at a seed-stage AI communications SaaS company as a Founding Product Engineer. You will own product features from discovery through production, helping build an AI phone assistant for businesses across Europe.
What You'll Do
Take features from initial hypotheses and prototypes through implementation, release, and iteration.
Work closely with customers, partners, and Sales to identify meaningful problems and validate potential solutions.
Design and implement product tracking, then use relevant metrics to guide decisions.
Build across the stack and make architecture choices that balance fast learning with long-term scalability.
Develop lightweight experiments and prototypes before committing to larger builds.
Drive initiatives forward with ownership and a pragmatic, customer-focused approach.
What We're Looking For
At least three years of product engineering experience delivering features end to end.
Hands-on experience in a startup engineering environment.
Full-stack experience with Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS, and React.
Experience owning software from architecture and implementation through production release.
German proficiency at B2 level or above, and fluent English for team and product communication.
A strong product mindset, comfort using metrics, and a focus on customer value.
Experience integrating large language models or building AI-powered features is an advantage.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation is €80,000 to €120,000 annually, plus equity. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Location
Remote, with Germany as the primary location. Candidates should be able to overlap with Central European Time.
